4. Electrical Permit Fee

  • For electrical installations, the electrical permit costs range from ₱500 to ₱1,500, depending on the size and complexity of the system being installed. Larger projects or commercial buildings may face higher fees.

5. Fire Safety Evaluation Fee

  • The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) charges a fee for evaluating the fire safety systems of the building. This fee typically ranges from ₱1,000 to ₱5,000, depending on the size and nature of the project​

6. Other Administrative and Miscellaneous Fees

  • Processing Fees: These fees vary but can range from ₱500 to ₱2,000 for handling the application.

  • Inspection Fees: Some LGUs charge additional fees for inspections during and after construction, ranging from ₱500 to ₱1,500.

  • Occupancy Permit Fee: After the construction is complete, an occupancy permit will be required, with fees ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱5,000 depending on the size of the building.


For a typical residential house of 100 square meters in Cagayan de Oro, expect the total permit fees to range from ₱10,000 to ₱30,000, depending on the project complexity and local government rates.
